About Us |
OLINS was founded in 2002 by a group of marketing professionals who wanted to provide a different approach to direct marketing and lead generation. Having been instrumental in a number of large scale direct marketing programs, OLINS’ founders wanted bring the ability to leverage technology and buying power enjoyed by large marketers within reach of small to medium sized companies.
We recognized that scalability and technology investment were two of the largest barriers that faced start ups and even medium sized companies. We understood that many just couldn’t compete with larger organizations simply because they didn’t have access to the tools and cost structures needed to undertake a sustainable marketing campaign. We set out with a mission to level the playing field… to bring the advantages enjoyed by large companies with large budgets to small and medium companies.
For nearly ten years we have been successfully helping our customers compete with the “big guys”. In the meantime our company has expanded, evolved and grown as well. Bill has nearly 40 years of experience in printing, direct marketing and technology. From his early days with Wallace Business Forms to his later work with Texas Direct, North American Communications, and as one of the founders of OLINS, Bill has been a driving force behind the evolution of direct marketing techniques and strategies. His technical expertise has helped OLINS develop an array of proprietary capabilities that make OLINS unique in the industry. |

Kent Merrell, Chief Operating Officer & Creative Director
Kent has over 30 years of experience in designing and implementing highly successful direct marketing campaigns. With 30+ Echo Awards www.dma-echo.org Kent has proven his ability as a creative director and brings a wealth of talent to OLINS. In 1992 Kent founded Merrell-Remington Direct and has developed campaigns for a variety of financial services, packaged goods, and technology companies. Pedro Nogueiro, Chief Marketing Officer
Pedro has over 20 years of marketing expertise, primarily with financial services organizations. He developed and managed highly successful marketing and lead generation programs at American Express and GE Capital. Pedro has also provided strategic marketing consulting and program management services for financial services leaders such as Charles Schwab & Co, Prudential Insurance, and Wells Fargo Bank. As one of OLINS’ founders, he can work closely with new clients in developing , refining and enhancing their marketing programs using OLINS tools and resources. |

Randall Achziger, Chief Technology Officer
Randall joined OLINS in 2002, and working closely with Bill Herring, has lead the design and development of our technology platform. He holds a BS in Computer Science and several certifications from Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Cisco and others. Before OLINS, Randall taught programming to several technical companies, military departments, state governments and state education divisions. He also has a background in sales management and was the Regional Vice President for a national wholesale company before leaving to focus on the IT field.
Randall currently oversees the day-to-day development and maintenance of all databases, websites and programs that make up the technical workings of OLINS. His team has developed the instant list locking and live count system, automated list integration, ORIII response with personalized web and automated call redirection and OLINS IMC automated social network system.
